Journey with Bilbo Baggins through the dark lands, aided by Gandalf and a band of dwarves, as he encounters goblins, trolls, a fire breathing dragon… and Gollum! J.R.R. Tolkien’s timeless tale of bravery will also be part of this season’s award-winning Conejo Theatre for Everyone.

Auditions will last approximately two hours and may include cold reading from the script and some improvisation.
Please either memorize or be familiar with the sides for the character(s) you are auditioning for. All sides at the bottom of this page.
Callbacks: Monday, December 9 from 5:30-10:00pm
Parent Meeting: Wednesday, December 11 from 6:00-7:00pm
Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30-8:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am -1:00pm
Performances: February 7-23, 2025
Young Artists Ensemble Feb 7-16; Conejo Theatre for Everyone Feb 21-23
(participants must be available for all performances)
Auditions are by appointment only
Participants must be at least 10 and not yet 20 years old by the closing performance on February 23, 2025
If you are currently cast in YAE's production of Much Ado About Nothing please be sure to list it as a conflict.
Auditions, Rehearsals, & Performances held in the Theatre on the Hill at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts;
403 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
There is a $210 participation fee; financial assistance available
