While we want to open to provide exceptional cultural experiences and opportunites for our community, it is most important to keep our community safe. The current Ventura Council Health Stay Well at Home Order has been extended until May 31, 2020. The Governor's Reopening Plan lists live performing arts as a Phase 4 Activity and our best estimate is that we will not be able to hold live performing arts activities until January 2021 at the earliest. We will open earlier if possible, but proactively we are postponing, cancelling, or moving to live streamed performances now. More information will be listed next week. We do hope the the facility will be able to open soon for limited class activity with social distancing protocols, however we are making plans to move many of our culural classes online via zoom. We will have more information in the next few week. Please call or email the Hillcrest Center for the Arts if you have questions: 805-381-2747 or email@example.com.
The Hillcrest Center for the Arts (home to the Young Artists Ensemble) is closed to all public activity including classes, rentals, and performance through at least May 15, 2020 per the Ventura County Stay well at Home order. We will only open when it safe for all and permitted by local and state order. It is our hope to open on June 1, 2020. Plans for our Summer programs are moving forward at this time.
